Sydney pop-up event.   Let's take it back. The hangover has passed and the dust has settled after a mammoth run of shows touring with The Growlers for the Aussie leg of their Beach Goth Tour. We were stoked to see you guys loved their psych rock sound as much as us.  No surprise at all, the sold-out shows were complete chaos in the best way possible. As if the sold out shows weren't enough, we teamed up with the band to put on two free pop-up events; One in our home town at the Byron Bay Brewery, and another at our second home, Monster Children's MC06 space. Both events were a booze-fuelled celebration of art, music, and absolute madness. Shout-out to special guests Kirin J Callinan, The Jim Mitchells, and our very own Liquid Face.  Step into our crazy world and see what we've been up to for the past few weeks. SKULL & BULLETS  THRILLS is proud to collaborate with Queensland based artist and ceramicist Dan Elborne to create a series of porcelain skulls and .303 bullets embellished with original scorpion floral artwork by Thrills.   Dan has created a menacing contradiction between beauty and horror, juxtaposing the aesthetic beauty of porcelain and embellishment with the horrors of war, further reflected by the scorpion lurking with in the floral artwork. The bullets are five round stripper clips featuring individually slip cast porcelain .303 bullets, glazed and decorated with scorpion floral artwork. LIMITED EDITION OF FIVE (set of 5).   The skulls are a continuation of Dan’s existing series entitled ‘Human Condition’.
